Technology Evaluation in the Elderly Webinars

Technology Evaluation in the Elderly (TVN) is a network of researchers and clinicians funded by the federal Networks of Centres of Excellence Program and hosted by Queen’s University and Kingston General Hospital.

TVN aims to improve the quality of care for frail elderly and supports research and continuing education on this topic. As a part of supporting continuing education on this topic they host a series of webinars typically on the first Wednesday of every month at 12 noon, Eastern Time.

Information about upcoming webinars and video recordings of past webinars are available on their website. Examples of topics from past webinars available to view include “Assessing quality of life measures for elderly traumatic brain injury survivors”, “End of life care priorities in frail elderly Canadians” and “Post-discharge rehabilitation interventions for older adults with cognitive impairment following a hip fracture”.
