Health
Improvement Scotland set out to improve nutritional care in Scotland by
understanding a national improvement campaign to address issues that put adults
at risk of malnutrition.
Some of the
priorities of this nutritional care programme include making meals better (with
consideration of the impact of mealtime volunteers), self-management in long
term conditions, and improving nutritional care during transitions between care
environments.
The
organisation released a report in March 2012 which details the progress of the
programme after being in place for 18 months.
