Providing culturally competent care to all patients/residents
is a priority among health care providers and across many health care systems
in Canada, but it can be often difficult to know how to provide culturally
competent care to some groups without any understanding of their culture.
This handbook, developed by Diversity Services in the Fraser
Health Authority in British Columbia, intends to inform health care providers
about providing care to people of the Sikh faith in a culturally competent way.
