The Institute for Research in Social Services, in partnership
with Scottish Care in Scotland, provides support to social service providers of
older people in Scotland’s independent sector through the collaborative project
called Fit for the Future.
The project is focused on creating positive change to the
provision of care for the elderly in two ways. First, recommending smaller
changes that can be implemented daily and immediately by all levels of staff
working with the elderly and second, providing resources that enable institutions
to look at what the future of care will be in the long term.
