Aged Care Workers and HIV and Ageing

As more individuals who are HIV positive are living longer long-term care facilities and aged care workers are learning how to manage this chronic condition in older adults.  This booklet, developed by ASHM, is intended for healthcare professionals who work with older adults in the community and in long-term care facilities.  It provides basic information on HIV, the effect of HIV on the ageing process, HIV treatment, and information on
mental health issues that may arise.
