Published by the International Federation on Ageing in March 2012, this document reports on a project with the aim of improving the policy responses to critical age-related issues through the identification, investigation and analysis of specific country trends and responses that are applicable to the Canadian context and population trends.
Over the course of three months the IFA reached out to members, colleagues and subscribers, from Canada and across the globe seeking input into the top 5 current and emerging issues as they relate to
ageing.
The issues identified in the study are not independent of one another but are more of a reflection of the complexity of individuals, the opportunities and the choices made as individuals, within a family and in the community.
