This document describes the British Geriatrics Society's recommendations for standards of care for specialist services for older people and those with whom they work. It is envisaged the document will be of value to health professionals, primary care groups, NHS managers, general practitioners and voluntary agencies, in addition to geriatricians, old age psychiatrists and specialist registrars.
