Quality of Inpatient Care for Older People in Acute Trusts

Twelve acute trusts across the UK worked with Health and Social Care Advisory Committee to improve the quality of care for older patients by developing standards informed by focus groups of older people and staff working within the trusts. A two-day diagnostic visit informed a local action plan and a service development advisor worked alongside local staff identifying solutions to intransigent problems. http://www.hascas.org.uk/pdf_files/QUIP%20report%20180107.pdf
