The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) has created a Dementia and Sensory Loss Learning Module for healthcare professionals who support people with dementia. The learning module provides an overview of those affected by sensory loss (such as hearing, vision and deafblindness) in addition to dementia. The learning modules include reading material and activities to accelerate the learning process.
