The Dementias and Lewy Body dementia pamphlets

The National Institute of Health (NIH) has recently released two pamphlets intended to give families and older adults a better understanding of Dementia and Lewy Body Dementia.

The Dementias gives an overview of the types of dementia, conditions that may cause dementia, the risk factors, diagnosis, treatment and an update on the most current research.  It also includes a glossary of terms related to dementia.  This pamphlet can be read and downloaded at http://1.usa.gov/1g95LpP

The Lewy Body Dementia information pamphlet is intended for families, patients and professionals.  It includes an overview of dementia with lewy body and Parkinson's disease dementia, risk factors, common symptoms, information on management, advice for people living with lewy body and information for caregivers.  This pamphlet can be read and downloaded at http://1.usa.gov/1jsS5X7.
