The Canadian
Centre for Policy Alternatives, an independent, non-partisan research
institute has just released a policy paper,
For the Care We All Deserve: Building Better Long-Term Care in Manitoba, written
by Matt McLean. The 2-page paper provides some background information on the challenges
of providing long-term care in Manitoba and how these challenges have resulted
in the current labour disputes. The
paper also presents a brief summary of the events that occurred this past summer.
