Falls Prevention Exercise - following the evidence

Written by AgeUK, Falls Prevention Exercise – following the evidence summarizes evidence-based information on the prevention of falls in older adults.  It is aimed at health care professionals and for older adults at different stages of mobility – from low risk to high risk (recovering from a stroke or have had a ‘minor’ fall).
The guide includes examples of exercise programs and how they’ve been incorporated into different health care settings.  The exercises are primarily based on improving balance and strength and can be included into daily activity.
