The Canadian Institute of Health Information (CIHI) released its report, Adverse Drug Reaction-Related Hospitalizations among Seniors, 2006-2011 discussing the amount of hospitalizations that occurred due to an adverse drug reaction, specifically among Seniors, in Canada. The relationship between various potential risk factors and the likelihood of being hospitalized for an ADR were examined for Alberta, Manitoba and P.E.I.
