This discussion paper from Wisdem draws on the debate and discussion of participants
in the Salamanca Seminar on Environmental Design and Dementia, a series of
workshops which took place during 2010-11 bringing together a number of experts
around the world to discuss how to improve the lives of people with dementia.
The paper defines the scope of environment design, presents a model, and
provides guiding principles for designing environments.
