The Chief Public Health Officer's Report on The State of Public Health in Canada 2010 (released October 2010) contains a chapter on the Health and Well-Being of Canadian seniors. This is an excellent summary and overview with statistics of the current health and well-being of the Canadian population aged 65 years and older, including patterns of ill health and disability within this age group. It focuses on physical and mental health as well as economic and social well-being.
