From Canada's National Film Board, The Elder Project follows 7 different seniors over the course of 2 years and records their experiences through a series of short and candid episodic stories. As they face the possibility of increasing frailty and transitioning into more dependant living scenarios, the elders talk of their concerns and eloquently express their desire to grow older with dignity and some control over their future.

The Elder Project sounds very informative and entertaining. Unfortunately, many times it takes getting into someones shoes and seeing the whole from their point of view before we really understand the scope of a situation. Just as there are many ways to grasp the reality of an elder's situation, there are many products which help to alleviate some of the inconvenience or discomfort.
