Rising Tide: The Impact of Dementia in Canada

This is the final report of an Alzheimer Society project, funded by Pfizer Canada, Health Canada, the Public Agency of Canada, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and Rx&D.

The study examined:

• the health and economic burden of dementia in Canada over the next 30 years
• the possible effects of interventions upon this burden and how they could affect health and economic impacts of dementia
• policy options
• recommendations on how to address the issue
