NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, UK) is seeking consultation on a guidance to be released April, 2008. The guidance focuses on the role of occupational therapy and physical activity in the promotion of mental wellbeing in later life for people who are most disadvantaged, for example, people living in social or geographic isolation, people aged 75 or older, people with restricted physical or learning disabilities and people from black and ethnic minority groups.
