Understanding how Canadians make use of health care services in the last years of life is important to health care planners and decision-makers from coast to coast. This report by the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) takes a closer look at some of the important issues around end-of-life care, including where people die, variations in hospital use and seniors' community-based prescription drug use.
