This report from the McMaster Centre for Gerontological Studies summarizes the research on what is known about key events and transitions experienced by seniors, their impacts, and the resources seniors have or need to copie with these events. It also reviews what is known about acccessing social support programs and attempts to provie potential policy research directions to address current knowledge gaps.
