MOOC's (Massive Open Online Course) have become more popular in recent years as a way to participate in distance education with a large and varied group of people. The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing is offering a MOOC this October on the Care of Elders with Alzheimer's Disease and other Major Neurocognitive Disorders with Nancy Hodgson, PhD, RN and Laura Gitlin, PhD. The course will take place over 5 weeks starting October 14th and is intended for all health care professionals and administrators. The course will cover dementias and other neurocognitive disorders as well as new innovations in care.
